Bloodlines Fort: Wheelrags [Yeshim]

I have watched and carefully made plans. For far too long has dwarven society been ruled by kings with deluded and radical new ideas such as "venturing outside" and "equal rights for everyone". The time has come to do something about this and Wheelrags is the perfect place to start.

-----

The previous rules has some of the right ideas, the workers do not need big bedrooms or luxury, however the lack of a common dining hall is just barbaric, the first thing I order is to start work on digging out the location for a new general dining room. Eating on the floor is what animals do.

The second is to remove our dependency on going outside to get water for our wounded, real dwarves never go outside, I also noticed a crazed obsession with Coffers, production of these will be put on hold indefinitely.

Once there critical constructions are finished I can finally begin constructing living quarters for myself, the temporary bed among the peasants are hardly suitable. I prefer living in a quit and peaceful area, so a new tunnel leading to my eventual living space is constructed.

Meanwhile on the not-very-important surface some tree-huggers appear, however they are too pussy to come close to our gates in fear of the creatures roaming the countryside. We all have a good laugh watching them run around in circles before they finally manage to dodge their chaser long enough to get to our depot.

One day, our stonecrafter just wakes up with his head full of crazy ideas

Right about this time a large number of immigrats that more than doubles the previous popultaion decide to try their luck by moving to Wheelrags, obviously news of my great leadership abilities spread around quickly. All the dwarves on this picture are immigrats.

-----

Early Summer now, this place is shaping up well. Small scale metal production has begun, our few soldiers are now outfitted with iron armor and shields.

Right when things were slowing down

A short time later this is what comes of the hard work. Too bad moody dwarves always fail to produce something useful.

The prevoius Artifact created was this, I forgot to include a picture.

Great Dwarf vs Undead Camel War was fought when the merchants arrived from our mountainhome, this is what remains.

Its a shame dwarves had to die, but those camels had it coming.

Glass production is up and running, the first pieces are rolling off the assembly line.

Now right here something interesting came up, I've never seen a child taken by a mood before, but this one was. I predict useless item being created!

So what do you think he created? something useful or useless? If you can't wait to know click the spoiler tags

Useless, big surprise there.

Keeping the Camels at bay is never easy, constant battling keeps the military at its toes!

And at this note It's time for me to retire, I will be living the simple life of an armorsmith. Try not to get me killed too soon.
